The group's principal activity is to supply fuel additives and systems that reduce harmful emissions from internal combustion engines. The group's two main technology areas include platinum plus(R) fuel borne catalyst and the aris(R) 2000 nox reduction system. Platinum plus takes the catalytic action into engine cylinders where it improves combustion thereby reducing particulates, unburnt hydrocarbons and co emissions as well as improving fuel economy. It helps in emission control and fuel economy improvement in diesel and gasoline-fueled engines. The aris 2000 (advanced reagent injection system) is a patented injection system for the reduction of nox emissions from diesel engines. It is a miniature version of the scr (selective catalytic reduction) injection system. It is designed for volume production and is applicable to both stationary diesel engines for power generation and mobile diesels used in trucks, buses, trains and boats.
