The group's principal activity is to design, develop and market machine control software products to meet the needs of original equipment manufacturers. The group has three primary machine control software product lines: advanced motion control, general purpose equipment connectivity and specialized connectivity for 300mm semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities. The products include the cimetrix open development environment (code(tm)), cimconnect (TM), gem host manager (TM), testconnect (TM), cim300 (TM), cimfoundation (TM), cim40-process job (TM) and cim90-substrate tracking (TM). The customers of the group include wide variety of technology and manufacturing industries, including smt, semiconductor wafer fabrication, semiconductor back-end, packaging, small parts assembly and robotics.
