The group's principal activity is to develop, manufacture and distribute signal distribution and graphic products to broadcasters for use in digital television. The activities are carried through three segments. The graphics segment provides the duet(R) real-time 2d/3D digital video graphics processors that provide television character generator applications and enhance the presentation of live and pre-recorded video. The streaming services segment markets the clarinet dualstreamer(R), a streaming media coder used to encode video and audio for use on the Internet. The group maintains sales offices in the United States, Hong Kong, France, India, Denmark and the United Kingdom. During 2003, the group discontinued the signal distribution and automation segments and sold pro-bel division.
