The group's principal activity is to provide financial services in Ohio, Kentucky and west Virginia. The group accepts interest and non-interest-bearing checking accounts, money market deposit accounts, regular passbook savings accounts and term certificate accounts. It originates conventional fixed-rate and variable-rate mortgage loans for the acquisition, construction or refinancing of single-family homes and construction and permanent mortgage loans on condominiums, two- to four-family, multi-family and nonresidential properties. In addition, it also provides consumer loans. Other activities include provision of title insurance agency and retirement savings plans. The savings association insurance fund administered by the federal deposit insurance corporation insures the group's deposit accounts. On 20-Aug-2004, the group acquired london financial corporation.
