The group's principal activity is to conduct research and develop and market products for the non-invasive diagnosis of cardiac disease. The group has developed two products, the ch 2000 and the heartwave system in addition to micro-v alternans sensors. Heartwave system is used to perform a microvolt t-wave alternans test, a non-invasive measurement of extremely subtle beat-to-beat fluctuation in a patient's heartbeat. Ch 2000 performs conventional cardiac stress tests using the t-wave alternans technology. All the products are cleared by the federal drug administration for sale in the United States and have received the ce mark for sale in Europe. Targeted at leading cardiology medical centers, the products are primarily sold to hospitals, research institutions and cardiovascular specialists. In 2001, the group granted an exclusive distributorship of ch 2000 to philips medical systems in the United States and a non-exclusive distribution right outside the country.
