The group's principal activities are to design, manufacture, assemble and sell a broad line of components and sensors. The group also provides electronics and manufacturing services primarily for the automotive, communications and computer markets. The group operates through two segments namely: components and sensors and electronics manufacturing services. Components and sensors are products which perform specific electronic functions for a given product family for use by global OEMs, contract manufacturers and electronic distributors. Electronic manufacturing services (ems) includes the higher level assembly of electronic and mechanical components into a finished subassembly or assembly performed under a contract manufacturing agreement with OEMs or other contract manufacturers. The group operates manufacturing facilities located in North America, Asia and Europe.
