The group’s principal activities include exploring, developing, producing and gathering of natural gas. The group also develops coalbed methane. The group operates through two segments namely Central Appalachia and Northern Appalachia. Of the total sales in the year 2006, the Central Appalachia segment accounted for $555,642 and Northern Appalachia $23,542 (thousands).
