The group's principal activity is the ownership, franchising and licensing of quick-service restaurant concepts. It operates three restaurant chains namely, carl's jr, hardee's & la salsa. Carl's jr and la salsa restaurants are located predominantly in California. Hardee's restaurants are located throughout the southeastern and midwestern United States. Carl's jr's menu features charbroiled hamburgers, chicken and fish sandwich, stuffed baked potatoes, salads and fried zucchini. Hardee's restaurants offer primarily hamburgers and chicken sandwiches and made from scratch(tm) biscuits. The group has a dual branding agreement with sbrg to offer the green burrito(R) menu at selected carl's jr locations.
