The group's principal activities are to design and produce commercial flight simulators, visual systems and training systems. The group operates in two segments: civil simulation and training and military simulation and marine controls. The civil simulation and training segment supplies civil flight simulators, visual systems and provides business and civil aviation training. The military simulation and marine controls segment supplies military flight and land-based simulators, visual and training systems. This segment also supplies marine controls and training systems. During fiscal 2002, the group discontinued its forestry systems and cleaning technologies segments. Military simulation and marine controls accounted for 52% of fiscal 2002 revenues and civil simulation and training, 48%.
