The retail division provides insurance products and services to commercial, governmental, professional and individual customers. The national programs division provides professional liability and related package products for certain professionals, as well as products and services designated for specific industries, trade groups and market niches. The services division provides insurance-related services, employee benefit self-insurance and managed healthcare services. The brokerage division markets and sells excess and surplus commercial insurance and reinsurance. The group acquired the remaining 25% of Florida intracoastal underwriters limited company in 2003 and proctor financial insurance in 2004 and balcones-southwest, inc. On 03-May-2004 and hardin & wilson, inc on 03-Aug-2004.
