The other healthcare segment consists of convatec, medical imaging and consumer medicines. Convatec manufactures, distributes and sells ostomy, modern wound and skin care products. Medical imaging manufactures, distributes and sells cardiovascular imaging products. Consumer medicines manufactures, distributes and sells health care products. The group operates in United States, France, Japan, Germany, Spain, Italy and Canada. It acquired acordis speciality fibres in apr 2004.
