The group's principal activity is to provide investment banking, securities and derivates trading, clearance and brokerage services. The group operates in three segments: capital markets, global clearing services and wealth management. The capital markets segment deals with institutional equities, fixed income and investment banking services. It provides the sales, trading and origination effort for various fixed income, equity and advisory products and services. The global clearing services segment provides execution, clearing, margin lending and securities borrowing to facilitate customer short sales to clearing clients worldwide. The wealth management segment is composed of private client services that provide investment service to high-net-worth individuals and asset management areas that manages equity, fixed income and alternative assets. The customers of the group include corporations, governments, and institutional and individual investors.
