The company's principal activity is to design, manufacture and market emergency parachute recovery systems for use in the general aviation and recreational aircraft. These systems are designed to bring down the entire aircraft and its occupants under the parachute canopy in the event of an in-air emergency. Recreational aviation products include products designed and manufactured for use on unregistered aircraft such as ultralights and aircraft that registered with the federal aviation administration as experimental. The products are sold directly to individuals and through dealers and distributors. Export sales accounted for 5% of fiscal 2003 revenues.
