The group's principal activity is to provide telecommunication services. The group operates through its subsidiaries: the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company, LTD (GT and T), Atlantic Tele-Center Inc (ATC), Bermuda Digital Communications, LTD (BDC), Choice Communications, LLC, ATN (Haiti) S.A. and Call Home Telecom, LLC. GT&T provides public telecommunications services in Guyana. It also provides yellow pages and other directory services and sales and service of telecommunication equipment. ATC is developing a call-center business in Guyana to provide services to businesses in the United States. BDC provides cellular telephone service in Bermuda under the name Cellular One. Choice Communications provides Internet service, specialized mobile radio, paging and wireless cable television services the U.S. Virgin Islands. The group provides Internet access and radio paging in Haiti. On 20-Feb-2004, the group acquired Intersat, LLC.
