The group's principal activity is the provision of high-quality satellite transponder capacity and the provision of services to broadcasting and telecommunications markets. The group has three satellites which are positioned over the Asian landmass and offer its customers coverage of close to 70% of the world's population. AsisSat 4 is a Boeing 601 HP satellite and has commenced commerical service in July 2003. The had purchased a plot of land at the Tai Po Industrial Estates in Hong Kong to build a new satellite earth station which was completed in January 2004. The group earns revenue fom customers in Hong Kong, Greater China, including Taiwan, USA, British Virgin Islands, Singapore and other contries.
