The group's principal activity is the provision of services in satellite transponder leasing, broadcasting and telecommunication for broadcasting and telecommunication sectors. It operates three in-orbit geostationary satellites namely apstar i, apstar ia and apstar iir. The group has procured two high power satellite, apstar v and apstar ia respectively, which will be lunched in Sept 2003 and 2005 respectively as replacement satellites of apstar i and apstar ia respectively.
