The group's principal activity is to manufacture and distribute kitchen cabinets and vanities for the remodeling and new-home construction markets. It provides framed stock cabinets in approximately 230 different cabinet lines. The stock cabinets include approximately 80 door designs in nine colors. The group owns twelve manufacturing facilities located primarily in the eastern United States. The products are marketed through three primary market channels: home centers, major builders and independent dealers and distributors. They are primarily sold under the brand names of American woodmark, timberlake and shenandoah cabinetry.
