The group's principal activities are to provide financial products and services primarily of the sale of fixed rate and index annuities. It's products include fixed rate annuities, index annuities, a variable annuity and life insurance. Fixed rate annuities includes single premium deferred annuities, flexible premium deferred annuities and single premium immediate annuities. Index annuities allow policyholders to link returns to the performance of a particular index without the risk of loss of their principal. Life insurance include traditional ordinary and term, universal life and other interest-sensitive life insurance products. The group markets its products through a variable cost brokerage distribution network. As of 31st dec 2003, it had approximately 60 national marketing organizations and 42,000 independent agents .
