The group's principal activities are carried out through four segments: moving and storage operations, real estate, property/casualty insurance and life insurance. The moving and storage operations consist of the rental of equipment such as trucks and trailers, the sale and rental of self-storage spaces. Real estate operations include property acquisitions, dispositions and managing environmental risks of the properties. Property and casualty insurance segment originates and reinsures property and casualty-type insurance products for various market participants. Life insurance segment originates and reinsures annuities, credit life and disability, single premium whole life, group life and disability coverage, and medicare insurance. The group operates in the United States and Canada.
