The group's principal activities are to provide financial guarantees and other financial services to public and private sector clients worldwide. The group's activities are divided under two business segments: financial guarantee insurance and financial management services. The financial guarantee insurance provides credit enhancement that benefits both the issuer and the investor. The financial management service provides investment agreements, interest rate swaps, investment advisory and cash management services and electronic commerce solutions. These services are mainly provided to its financial guarantee clients, which include municipalities, school districts, hospitals, health care organizations and asset-backed issuers.
