The group's principal activities are to manufacture ammunition and security systems. The operations conducted by its two subsidiaries, mecar sa and the vsk group. Mecar manufactures and sells ammunition and light weapons for infantry use. They include grenades and ammunition for medium caliber, artillery, anti-tank and anti-personnel categories. The vsk group manufactures and sells security systems for government and private industry. The ammunitions are sold to governments and their agencies and prime contractors. The security systems are sold to banks, hospitals, commercial businesses and independent distributors. On 12-Aug-2004, the group acquired control monitor systems.
