The group's principal activities are to develop and manufacture optoelectronic semiconductor based components, hybrid assemblies and other proprietary advanced solid state light and radiation detection devices. The group designs and manufactures silicon-based electro-optical components, assemblies and design solutions for a global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) customer base. The products include customer specific assemblies for fiber optic data and telecommunications, pin photodetectors, photodetector hybrids, military and commercial aerospace products, custom optoelectronic assemblies and filtrode(r). The group also supplies detectors for high reliability (hi-rel) applications, including military and commercial aerospace and other applications requiring hi-rel specifications.
