The group's principal activities are the licensing, marketing, research and development of RISC microprocessor cores, peripheral solutions and system-on-chip designs. Products licensed by the group are used in a range of applications, including automotive, consumer entertainment, digital imaging, mass storage, networking, security and wireless industries. The group has formed partnerships with Philips, Texas Instruments, and Toshiba. Sales offices include six offices in the United States, and offices in Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Tel Aviv, Paris, and Munich. Design offices are based in Cambridge, Maidenhead, Sheffield, Blackburn, Sophia Antipolis, Leuven and Austin.
