Ms. Scott is a banker in the firm’s Houston office. Ms. Scott is a CPA and an attorney, and has over 12 years of municipal finance experience. Prior to joining Siebert Brandford Shank & Co., Ms. Scott worked as a senior municipal securities attorney in the firms of Batchan & Scott, P.C., and Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP. Her experience in public finance included serving in a financing transactions in the roles of co-bond counsel, underwriters’/co-underwriters’ counsel, dealers’ counsel and trustee’s counsel. She was involved in transactions exceeding $10 billion in aggregate par amount. In 1996, Ms. Scott’s firm ranked 5th among all Texas Bond Counsels by the Bond Buyer.Since joining the firm in 2004, Ms. Scott, has continued to broaden the base of Texas issuers with whom she has been involved in financing transactions.Ms. Scott is a graduate of St. Mary’s University with a J.D. and a BBA in Business Administration. NASD registrations licenses held are the Series 53 and 63.
