Yan Lavrovsky is a trained physician, who also has a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology. Yan completed a postdoctoral work at the Rockefeller University in New York. From 1995 through 2001 Yan was a faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center at the Department of Cellular and Structural Biology, when he was a principal investigator on NIH-funded projects. From 2001 until June 2006, Yan had worked in Serono, Inc. in Geneva (Switzerland) and Boston (MA) where he had led and participated in multiple discovery and development projects in oncology and fibrotic diseases. Yan is an author of more than 40 original reviews, original research articles, patents and chapters in books. |
