Yale T. Dolginow is a retail specialist with diverse expertise in private and publicly-held retail businesses. Over a professional career spanning 40 years, Yale has successfully managing change in the areas of strategic planning and implementation, merchandising, marketing, inventory management, franchise management, financial systems development, growth/expansion, reduction/wind-down, real estate sourcing and planning, and retail POS systems and operations. In former roles, as President and CEO of Paper Warehouse Inc. Yale oversaw the installation of a new Inventory Management and Accounting System, Developed defensive strategy against mass merchandisers and other party goods retailers and managed consistent store growth. For Carlson Catalog Showrooms, Yale in the capacity of President led the continued growth of this retail catalog showroom operations of 56 stores and successfully undertook a merger with competing catalog showroom companies. Other previous assignments included Dayton-Hudson Corporation, where Yale directed strategic and manpower planning, turnaround planning and analysis of merchandising trends, and Target Corporation, where in the capacity of Merchandising Consultant Yale directed the restructuring of the company’s merchandising and display strategies pertaining to party goods. Yale currently holds a place on several Board of Directors committees. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from the University of Kansas. |
