Xiaomin Huang is a Legal Intern at Kenyon & Kenyon. His practice focuses on prosecuting patent applications, due diligence opinions, patent litigation, and client counseling. Mr. Huang has extensive experience with computer hardware, computer software, telecommunication, electronics, and mechanical technologies, as well as in the semiconductor, telecommunications, and financial services arts.
Before joining Kenyon & Kenyon, Mr. Huang worked as a Patent Clerk at a general practice firm. There, he drafted many original patent applications, prosecuted patents, and co-wrote freedom-to-operate, patentability, and noninfringement opinions. Mr. Huang also brings expertise to his practice gained from over ten years of experience working as an engineer. His practical experience includes working as an electrical engineer designing radiation-hardened DRAM, a software engineer designing and implementing enterprise commercial software. In addition to his practical experience, Mr. Huang had also worked as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and taught computer system engineering, database analysis and design, and programming.
Mr. Huang earned a B.S. degree in Applied Physics from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, a M.S. degree in Physics from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and a M.S. degree, with honors, in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
