Ms. Bi joined the R&D Department at CompuMed in 1998. She has been in charge of the development of the automated OsteoGram and the arthritis application software. She is the major inventor of its OsteoGram system patent Arthritis patent (pending) and co-inventor of the segmentation patent. She worked as a senior system analyst for R&D department of OsteoGram Analysis Center of Merck & Co. before joining CompuMed. Her background includes computer programming image processing and mathematical algorithm development. She earned her B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering from TongJi University Shanghai China (1982) and her M.S. degree in Biological Systems Engineering from University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1995). |
