Wynn Calland was the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for Birmingham Steel Corporation. In this capacity, he was responsible for Birmingham Steel’s environmental, safety and health and risk management programs. Prior to his work at Birmingham Steel, he worked at various environmental and safety management positions in the chemical industry. Calland is a retired Naval Officer with extensive management experience in marine and coastal environmental policy and compliance. At SeverCorr, Calland manages the company’s environmental, safety, and risk management functions. During the construction phase, he also negotiates and manages construction site contracts, as well as providing regulatory review of all equipment and supply contracts. Calland also provides direct supervision over all insurance requirements and loss control processes, and serves as the SeverCorr’s liaison with outside attorneys for legal matters. |
