Mr. Bothe has served as Stonebranch chief executive officer since its founding in 1999. Wolfgang has over 16 years of experience in the computer industry. Previously, he was a member of the managing board of BETA Systems AG, a publicly traded company with 325 employees, and president/CEO of BETA Systems Software, Inc, the US subsidiary of BETA Systems AG. Through these experiences, Mr. Bothe has cultivated the business development skills and sense of entrepreneurship required to successfully manage an emerging growth enterprise. Mr. Bothe knows how to base a business on a strong financial reality and business case. He has the proven ability to aggressively grow business opportunities within a financial reality. Throughout his career, Mr. Bothe has specialized in establishing and nurturing start-up organizations. As area manager for Northern Germany for BETA Systems, a leading German corporation specializing in the development and sales of innovative standard data center automation software products in the global marketplace, he established successful sales teams. Promoted to vice president of sales for Northern and Eastern Europe, he integrated diverse sales teams across cultural and organizational barriers. His success in this position resulted in the assignment to open a North American subsidiary. He grew the North American operations to over 120 employees. Mr. Bothe was then promoted to the management board of BETA Systems AG. As a board member, he specialized in new acquisitions. His acquisitions of Pecan Software and Harbor Software moved BETA Systems from being a strictly mainframe-centric company to a company better suited to service today's distributed environments. Mr. Bothe began his career as a Software Developer at Siemens AG, and moved to BETA Systems as a sales representative, and finally worked as a key account manager at Oracle Corporation. |
