Winston graduated from UCF in Finance and was drafted in 1977 by the Tampa Bay Rowdies. After 6 successful seasons, Winston furthered his professional soccer career by joining the Tulsa Roughnecks, which in 1983 captured the North American Soccer League (NASL) Championship. Concurrently, DuBose was a member of the US National Team from 1979 - 1985 and participated in the US World Cup qualifying games. Anxious to move back to Florida, Winston returned home in 1984 to play with the Tampa Bay Rowdies until he retired from professional sports in 1992. Winston took a new direction and joined a technology company, which he successfully built his client base in both the Corporate and Government arena. In 1997, Winston joined Peter Anderson and Frank Mann to start Bayshore Technologies. Personally, Winston devotes his spare time to his church, various charities and the DuBose-McLeod Foundation (www.dubose-mcleodfoundation.com). Golf and biking are his leisure activities. |
