Dr. Angela Wilson is the President and CEO of SeKON; she established the firm in 1996. Her vision for SeKON is to become the premier management and technology consulting firm providing solutions that improve employee quality of life and work. Dr. Wilson has consulted extensively and has led company projects in strategic planning, change management, technology implementations, culture assessments and organizational effectiveness. In addition, Dr. Wilson has taught human resource management for colleges and universities at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Dr. Wilson is a member of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), the Women’s President Organization (WPO), Women in Technology (WIT), National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the National Women’s Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council. Dr. Wilson is also active with lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill and The White House in support of promoting employee, small business and women business owner’s issues. Dr. Wilson received her Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy from Virginia Polytechnic University while launching her entrepreneurial career. When not making great things happen with her SeKON family, Dr. Wilson spends all of her spare time with her husband and four children at their home in Centreville, Virginia. |
