Mr. Alexander is the president of W.J. Alexander & Associates, P.C., an employee benefits consulting and insurance brokerage firm that was started in 1981. He began his career playing professional football for the Houston Oilers from 1971 through 1980. Mr. Alexander is a graduate of Alcorn State University and a Chartered Life Underwriter of The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He is chairman of the Houston Forum Club, chairman of Texas Southern University Foundation, a trustee of Texas Children’s Hospital, and a trustee of South Texas College of Law. |
