Wolff brings 30 years of engineering and management expertise to Evergreen, serving most recently as president of power production at Dayton Power and Light, where he led 550 employees in the delivery of 4400 mega-watts of electricity generation. A Naval Academy graduate with a mechanical engineering degree, Wolff commanded the USS PITTSBURGH (SSN720) nuclear powered attack submarine, participated in the realignment of the Navy’s organizational structure, chaired the Naval Science Department at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and taught as an adjunct professor at RPI’s Lally School of Management.
In addition to his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Academy, Wolff has three Master’s degrees: an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, an MSE in Engineering Management from The Catholic University of America and an MS in Environmental Policy and Management from RPI.
After leaving the Navy, he joined Dayton Power and Light Company, rising quickly through the ranks as a power station manager, director of power production, and vice president of power production before becoming president of power production, where he served for more than four years. |
