Will Whitman serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Carpathia and all of its subsidiaries. In this role, Will provides legal and risk management services for Carpathia, each of its operating businesses, and its corporate support functions. He also supports the firm’s mergers and acquisitions/integration efforts, the Management Board, and the Executive Committee, and supervises the external legal work of several national and regional law firms. Prior to joining the company in 2004, Will was General Counsel and Director of Operations for Hotwire Communications, a regional cable, internet and phone services provider. He had previously represented corporate and individual clients in transactional, corporate, regulatory, and litigation matters as a partner in his firm, Whitman Benjamin, and been a commercial litigator at a prominent boutique Philadelphia law firm. Will earned his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University Law School, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College, where he graduated with Honors. Will also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he majored in Finance and Marketing. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and has been admitted to practice before numerous courts throughout the nation. |
