Dr. William Vennart, Vice President - Medical Management and National Medical Director, has more than 12 years in the health care industry. Prior to his appointment in 2004, he served as Senior Consultant in the Chief Medical Officer capacity for a regional managed care organization in the Midwest for over four years. Dr. Vennart has extensive experience serving in senior level medical management positions: acting as the lead Physician in developing and implementing programs to enhance medical management operations, secured approval for Medicare risk programs, developed proactive case and disease management programs, led health plans through the NCQA accreditation process, developed and implemented provider network strategy and processes. These experiences have led to significant reduction in medical costs for several health plans.
Dr. Vennart is board certified Family Physician and has extensive experience caring for the elderly. He graduated from Medical College of Virginia with his Medical Degree, his family practice residency is at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL and he also holds an MBA from Jacksonville University. |
