William M. Sayles is vice president, Finance and Enterprise Services, and general manager of Information Technology Core Systems Engineering. He is responsible for managing the teams that engineer and deliver IT core infrastructure, application and data systems at Intel.
These systems include core enterprise resource planning and office productivity capabilities, enterprise data warehouse, data and voice networks, enterprise server platforms, desktop and mobile platforms, operating systems, and security and manageability solutions.
Sayles joined Intel in 1996 and has held a variety of roles, including general manager of the Manageability Products Group, director of IT Global Engineering, and manager of the IT Internet Data Center.
Before joining Intel, Sayles held engineering and management positions at Mentor Graphics, Tektronix and Automatic Data Processing.
Sayles received his bachelor’s degree from Portland State University.
