Bill Connors is the President of Comcast’s Midwest Division, leading operations serving more than 4 million cable, High-Speed Internet, and Digital Voice customers. The division’s 11,000 employees serve residential, business and education customers in eight Midwestern states and several key markets, including Chicago, Detroit, the Twin Cities, Indianapolis, and Kansas City.
A 22-year veteran of the cable industry, Connors most recently served as Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Atlanta Region. His previous roles include Western Region Vice President for AT&T Broadband’s Greater Chicago Market, General Manager and Director of Customer Operations positions with Continental Cablevision and MediaOne in both Florida and Chicago markets. Connors also served as the Domestic Operations Advisor for the company’s Singapore Broadband venture from 1996 to1999.
While in Atlanta, Connors was an active community volunteer, serving in board/advisory board roles with several organizations, including: the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Special Olympics Foundation, Boy Scouts of America and the Creating Pride Art Education Foundation. He is also a member of numerous industry organizations, including the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) and the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). He attended the University of Florida, BCN 1984.
