Dr. Liss-Levinson has held executive positions in healthcare in administration, operations and strategic planning. He began his career as a psychologist working in behavioral health and then in the acute care world with cancer patients and their families. Dr. Liss-Levinson was the founder of The Brooklyn Hospice (1979-1987), a pioneering program for the terminally ill in New York, and has subsequently served in senior positions in acute care, long-term care and behavioral health systems in the metropolitan New York area. He has written several chapters in books on healthcare, published numerous articles in professional journals, testified before Congress on healthcare financing, and lectured extensively throughout North America. Dr. Liss-Levinson has been associated with Castle Connolly since 1997, playing a key role in its expansion and diversification. He is responsible for all strategic partnerships, business development, marketing and sales, and also oversees the company's operations in conjunction with its senior management. |
