Mr. Kaupas is a health care veteran with 25 years of experience with an emphasis in the development of specialty hospitals, both free-standing and hospital-based, including the hospital within hospital model. His responsibilities include identifying and developing and new hospital leases, acquisitions and joint ventures in states west of the Mississippi River. Prior to joining SeniorHealth in 2002, Mr. Kaupas was Chief Development Officer for a successful long-term acute care hospital company. He was a senior development officer for publicly-traded Intensiva Healthcare, and a development officer for Comprehensive Care Corporation, a national provider of psychiatric services, and its subsidiary, RehabCare Group, a provider of physical medicine rehabilitation programs. Mr. Kaupas earned his Bachelor’s degree from University of Washington, in Seattle. |
