Bill Garrahan is senior vice president of corporate development and strategy for XO Holdings, Inc. and XO Communications, LLC. He leads the company's mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy and business development activities, including joint ventures and partnerships. Garrahan joined the company in July 2001 as a senior member of its corporate development team, later playing a critical role in the company's acquisition of Allegiance Telecom.
Garrahan has nearly 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry including previous positions at Lehman Brothers, where is was senior vice president in its equity research department, and at MCI where he held a variety of executive finance and business development functions, including vice president of corporate planning and chief financial officer of MCI's $6 billion consumer business unit.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia. He also holds a Masters of Science in engineering from George Washington University. |
