William Gaither has more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive in the retail industry, with a proven track record in strategic planning, budgeting, mergers and acquisitions, and public debt offerings. From 1988 to 1998, William served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Heafner Tire. He successfully directed the financial growth of the company as it grew from $100 million in annual sales in 1988, to more than $1 billion in annual sales in 1999. Today, Heafner Tire is one of the largest privately-held companies in the United States, with sales exceeding $1.3 billion for fiscal year 2000. William retired from Heafner Tire in 1998, but still serves as the Chairman of the Board of the company.
William Gaither holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration degree from Davidson College, and graduated from the OPM program at Harvard University in 1986. |
