Bill Freeman has 19 years of experience in the restaurant and location-based entertainment industries, and has held senior management positions with Disney Regional Entertainment, a division of The Walt Disney Company; DAKA International, former parent company of Champps Americana; and Sundance Entertainment.
Prior to launching B & B Restaurant Ventures, Freeman was CEO of Sundance Film Centers and Executive Vice President for the Sundance Group.
From 1997 to 1999, in his role with Disney Regional Entertainment, Freeman was Vice President and General Manager of ESPN Zone. He was responsible for the overall development and operations of the multi-unit dining and entertainment concept. Freeman also served as Chief Financial Officer for DAKA International, a specialty food retail company, where he managed the operations of more than 750 food service locations and more than 200 units, including Champps Americana and Fuddruckers. Before making the move to DAKA International, Freeman was the largest franchisee of the Fuddruckers concept.
Freeman began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Whinney. After leaving Ernst & Whinney, he founded a financial planning company, Freeman Financial Enterprises, where he served as the Chairman and CEO for 12 years. |
