William Flood, MD is the Chief Medical Officer at ITA. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Penn State College of Medicine/Hershey Medical Center, where he continues to care for patients with aerodigestive malignancy. Dr. Flood is a member of the Thoracic Committee and the Head and Neck Committee of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group and a participating member of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in medical oncology and he has been named one of "the Best Doctors in America®."
Dr. Flood is a graduate of Penn State and received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine. He also received a master’s degree from the Penn State College of Medicine. Dr. Flood performed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Duke University Medical Center. He completed his medical oncology fellowship and served as Assistant in Oncology at the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center. |
