William Farmer is Co-President of Jefferies Quarterdeck, the Aerospace & Defense Investment Banking Group at Jefferies and serves as Head of the firm's Government IT and Technical Services Group. Mr. Farmer is based in the Washington D.C. office and is also a member of Jefferies' Investment Banking Operating Committee. With over 20 years of direct industry experience, Mr. Farmer has successfully managed more than 100 transactions including mergers and acquisitions, fairness opinions and capital market transactions. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences regarding current trends in defense and government IT transactions. Prior to joining the firm, he was CFO of a government contractor focused on supplying advanced technology to the defense community. Earlier, he held senior level finance positions with Computer Sciences Corporation and SAIC. Mr. Farmer received a BA from the University of Maryland and completed Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School Strategic Financial Planning program. |
