William Dix is a Principal at the Philadelphia office of Cubellis. William received his undergraduate degree from Rice University in 1963, and Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rice University in 1964. After serving with the United States Peace Corps (1964-1967) he joined GBQC Architects in 1968. GBQC merged with and became the Philadelphia office of Cubellis. During this time, William has played a key role in many important commissions. As the firm’s library specialist, William has been instrumental in making library planning and design a significant component of the Cubellis Philadelphia office's professional practice. He has been a guest speaker for a number of regional library organizations on the subject of library programming and space planning, and is listed on the ALA Library Buildings Consultant List. |
