Bill Barouski is Executive Vice President of the Customer Relations and Support Office of the Federal Reserve System. In that role, Barouski and the members of his group are responsible for a wide range of activities, including national marketing, sales, customer access channels and customer support. In his current role, Barouski oversees the Technology Group for the Seventh District. Barouski is also a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's Management Committee.
Previously, Barouski was vice president of the Information Technology and Training and Education division of the Supervision and Regulation department. He worked with a staff of technologists and examination specialists on a wide range of technology and electronic banking initiatives.
Before engaging in technology, Barouski was vice president in charge of supervision for all domestic banking institutions within the Seventh District. He joined the Federal Reserve Bank in 1980 as an examiner for the Supervision and Regulation department.
Barouski holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Illinois, an MBA from the University of Chicago and an MS in information technology from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago. |
