Bill Riggins is a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Transactions Group, concentrating primarily in the areas of real estate development and finance, including acquisition, development and disposition of improved and unimproved property, and condominium/community association development law. Mr. Riggins represents builders, developers and institutional users of real property. His various project activities have included representation of the developer in the development and sale of lots in a 200-acre office park; numerous site acquisitions for a national retailer; the acquisition, finance and construction of a corporate headquarters facility; and the sale of several large multi-family residential projects. Mr. Riggins also represents commercial and residential developers and builders in all aspects of the planning, creation and operation of commercial and residential associations, condominiums and common interest communities. Representative projects include the following: planning and establishing homeowners associations for several 200+ unit residential developments throughout Maryland; creating numerous residential, commercial and mixed-use condominiums in Maryland and the District of Columbia; shelf condominiums; land condominiums; and senior housing communities.
