William Ranard is the Administrative Partner in the firm’s Winnebago county office located in Rockford, Illinois. In addition to Winnebago County, the Rockford office serves Boone, Bureau, Carroll, DeKalb, Henry, Jo Daviess, LaSalle, Lee, Ogle, Rock Island, Stephenson, Whiteside, and the counties of Southern Wisconsin. Mr. Ranard practices primarily civil defense litigation. He has extensive experience in the field of medical malpractice defense and has successfully tried many cases before juries in at least six different counties. He also handles matters in the fields of errors and omissions, vehicular negligence, premises liability and general insurance defense. Mr. Ranard has additional experience in civil rights and breach of contract litigation on the defense side. Mr. Ranard’s previous experiences also include serving as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Lawrence Crahan of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, where he obtained extensive experience in appellate law.
