He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Medtronic, Inc. and from 1991 to 2001, as its Chief Executive Officer. From 1996 to 2002, he was Medtronic’s Chairman. He has served as Executive-in-Residence at Yale School of Management; Professor of Leadership and Governance at IMD International in Lausanne, Switzerland; and visiting Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédéral Lausanne (EPFL), also in Lausanne, Switzerland. |
